Week 4 - G-mail
I explored the G-mail site today. It does look like a nice program, but I wouldn't want to have to notify everyone on my personal email list to a new email address. My husband has an account through a professional organization he belongs to that allows him to run all of his email accounts through it, so he only has to log into one account to see all of his work and personal email. Does G-mail offer that service?

As far as I know (and I've been using gmail for years now), they do not offer this service. What they do offer is e-mail forwarding, meaning that you can have all of your e-mail from other accounts forwarded to your gmail account. That way, when you can check your one account (gmail) you will see them all.
However, when you reply to these e-mails, it will be from your gmail address, not the account that the message was originally sent to.
Does this make sense?
And, please, if another gmail user knows something I don't know, please fill me in!
That's actually what I was trying to describe, albeit not very successfully. Thanks for the info Melissa.
